Some of you may have noticed my interest this past year with shooting more analog than digital. Well as I have my last few booked shoots of this month, I will be selling my digital gear and upgrading to a fully analog kit.
I know some of you may be thinking this is crazy or photography career suicide, but I see it as an opportunity to learn more about myself and shooting style. Lately shooting digitally has just stressed me out more than anything and I am so excited to start this new journey.
My hopes is to be able to sell my Fuji kit and get a Mamyia 7 before the new year starts. So if you are reading this, and you have a Mamiya 7 that you do not use anymore and are interested in a trade, please contact me. Or if you are interested in purchasing my Fuji kit, please be on the lookout for when I post to sell online.
I have decided over the past couple weeks that I will not be selling my Fujifilm XT-1 right now and will keep it on hand for shoots that need an almost immediate turn around and for non-profit/church volunteer work. I will however, will still be doing all of my portrait sessions on film as well as most of my upcoming personal work I plan on doing over the next year. The only item I may be selling will be my Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens and battery grip.
The above image was shot on film, with my medium format monster, Mamiya RZ67 Pro on Kodak Portra 400 film.
Be on the look out for more analog adventures to come!!
