Today is March 7th, 2016 and we live for Ethiopia in 17 days.
I have many feelings leading up to this trip. I am nervous, as I am with any sort of international travel, however having already been there it's not too bad. I am excited, I cannot wait to share this experience with my wife and cannot wait to see my friends in Addis. I am hopeful and expectant of what God is going to do through us while we are there; and I am feeling a strong sense of purpose.
There are a few things I hope to accomplish while on this trip for the short amount of time we are there. I will be continuing documenting the work of Make Your Mark, trying to capture photographs that tell their story of hope and redemption through Jesus Christ. I also plan on trying to capture photographs of the street kids on the street, praying that God gives us the opportunities I need to photograph. I will be shooting most of the time with my analog camera, a Mamiya 7 medium format camera. Also, I hope to document me and Brittany's experience well using various social media platforms.
Be sure to follow along on the journey. I will be mostly posting to Instagram, as well as trying to keep up with Snapchat. We fly out on March 24th and return on April 2nd.

I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to a few of our sponsors for donating some equipment to help us along our journey to Ethiopia.
Moment Lens - Moment Case and Tele lens to help document with my phone.
Lems Shoes - Travel shoes to keep our feet comfy.
Lens Tab - focus ring for my Mamiya 7 and Fujifilm XT-1
The Fowlers - medium format film to capture the stories.
And of course, the biggest of shoutouts to all of you who donated financially. Without you, we couldn't be going on this missions trip. Without you, we couldn't be going to show God's love to these kids who are forgotten to the rest of the world. Brittany and I thank you so so much, please continue to keep us in your prayers as we going on this trip!
