Hello! My name is Steven Mills. I'm a staff product designer in the Charlotte, NC area, specializing in building, scaling, and leading multi-product design systems.

My creative career didn't start in software — it started behind a camera. From freelance photography to graphic design to a full-stack bootcamp, I found my way into digital product work, and eventually into what I do now: building the systems that let teams design and ship without the chaos.

When I'm not deep in a design system, I'm usually out on a trail, behind a camera, or spending time with my wife and three daughters.
